Now, what even is this release?

This is my own JPBD sync of Dragon Ball Super's Resurrection 'F' Arc Tagalog Dub, I started this project 2 months ago when my friend chเиökค๖นt∃, Carloloi (Red Juan) and Alamat ni Palon provided me the raw TV-Rips and audios for Dragon Ball Super (E1-67).

This project was actually on my mind ever since Super's airing on GMA ended because the available encodes/syncs of this on the internet is not that great. But thank god Carloloi clutched it and sent me the raw tv-rips that came from PHTV.one (Which is now taken down due to copyright issues.)

This one had a superior audio quality compared to the ones currently available on the web, though some eps are incomplete or missing due to the person capping this back then having a bad DTT signal or something. A lot of episodes from PHTV suffers from this issue that's why we used the audio provided to us by chเиökค๖นt∃ instead which had a lower audio quality but we EQ'd it on Izotope to make it sound much better and to fit within the PHTV.one rip's quality. This one has more cuts compared to the Battle of Gods arc and I assume that it's because of the runtime of the show on GMA.

Here are the eps that had some cuts and the eps missing from PHTV's collection but was replaced with the files that was sent to us by chเиökค๖นt∃.

Note: The NEPs (Next Episode Previews) were never shown in the broadcast, though, some of it will appear in the Goku Black Arc so stay tuned.

The Production of the dub

The production of this dub started in 2019 when Jeff Utanes (Goku's voice actor) posted a script of the Goku Black arc being in work in progress stage in his Facebook account. They only managed to dub Episodes 1 - 67. Years later, in January 6, 2020, the show was aired on GMA replacing Fairy Tail's timeslot (8:25AM - Weekdays, 9:15AM - Saturday and 7:50AM Sunday). Months later on October of 2020, the show received a rebroadcast but it is unknown if the missing scenes that was trimmed down to fit the timeslot on the 1st broadcast was included and it's also unknown if people recorded it.

Jeff Utanes responded to a fan years ago if they will continue dubbing Super but he said that GMA/Telesuccess hasn't bought the rights for the remaining episodes yet (68-131) and we might expect them to start the production in 2022 but to no avail since there's still no updates regarding it.

FAQ/Q&A

1. Where's the video at?

   • This is an audio-only release, you can use Vanner64's JPBD release for the video and mux it using MKVToolnix.
2. Why is there Japanese audio on some scenes?

• This is because MTRCB trimmed down some parts of the episode to make it fit the runtime/timeslot, this happens all the time on local PH TV channels.

3. Where's the following arcs/sagas? (U6, Goku Black and TOP arc)

• The Universe 6 - Goku Black Arc are all going to be released next year or even sooner. As for the TOP Arc, they still haven't dubbed the remaining eps yet after Ep.67, we will update you guys on our Ko-Fi page when we finally have some info about it.

4. Can I reupload this somewhere like on Facebook and profit off of it?

• You can reupload it but do not sell it anywhere. And if you are clueless and you bought this release from someone then you have been scammed LOL.
